More value from every grass fraction

Grass fibres for
pots and soil too.

Alongside plugs, blocks and slabs, we are developing new applications for grass fibres. From our smallest fractions to a potting mix suited to the plant.

GramiGrow · Grass-fibre pellets

Small fractions.
New possibilities.

Our smallest grass fractions take a new form: grass-fibre pellets. This also gives our fine material a place within the GramiGrow product family.

  • Made from our smallest grass fractions
  • A compact form for further processing
  • Match the application and dose to your mix

GramiGrow · Potting mix in development

A better mix.
With the power of grass.

We are developing potting soil improved and optimised with grass fibres. We tailor the balance of ingredients to the plant and its use.

  • Grass fibres as part of the potting mix
  • Focus on structure, moisture and rooting
  • Develop and test a composition for each application

Discussing GramiGrow growing media in the greenhouse
Rooted in practice

Successful growing starts
at the roots.

The substrate, irrigation and growing conditions work together. We will discuss how to test and monitor GramiGrow in your system.

Irrigation

Monitor moisture distribution, drainage and irrigation frequency.

Nutrition

Measure EC and pH and match your feeding programme to the crop.

Root development

Observe rooting, transplanting time and the transition between formats.

Growing climate

Include light, temperature and evaporation in your assessment.

Dimensions in mm for plugs and blocks; in cm for slabs. Request current product specifications and supply options for your growing trial.

From propagation to application.

We develop with growers, guided by practical experience. Choosing the right product starts with the crop and your way of working.

Propagation

Sowing, cuttings and young plants: discuss your tray, transplanting time and root-space requirements.

Vegetable growing

Match the next step to your irrigation, plant spacing and crop duration. Sweet pepper is part of our growing trials.

Ornamental growing

Different crops need different approaches. We are gaining experience with crops including Phalaenopsis and lavender.

Good to know.

How do I choose between a plug, block and slab?

Start with the growing stage. A plug is a starting format; a block offers extra root space during propagation; a slab is a format for growing on. Discuss the combination for your crop with us.

Can I keep my existing irrigation programme?

A different growing medium may change moisture distribution and drainage. Start with a growing trial and monitor moisture, EC, pH and root development before setting your programme.

Can I test GramiGrow with my crop?

Tell us which crop you grow, how your system is set up and which size you need. Together we will discuss a suitable trial and current availability.

What are the growing media made from?

Grass fibres form the basis of GramiGrow. Request the current product specification for the composition and properties of your chosen format.
